I am moving house. Do I need to inform you for the water authority tax?
No, you do not need to inform us of your move for the water authority tax. However, please make sure you register your new address with the municipality. The municipality will then pass this information on to us.
I am moving abroad. What happens then?
Are you leaving The Netherlands? Even if you move abroad or start living in the Netherlands, you must inform the municipality. You can read more about this here (You are leaving this website). You do not need to inform us. The municipality will pass the information on to us. In most cases, we will reduce your assessment. You will automatically receive a notification from us about this.
Will my assessment change if I move?
That depends on your situation. If you move within the area of Water Authority Amstel, Gooi and Vecht, usually nothing changes. If you move out of our area or start living alone, we will usually reduce your assessment. You will automatically be informed about this. Read when we reduce your assessment.
